Bryce Andrew “Andy” Woolsey Sr., age 79, of Green Castle, MO, formerly of Independence, passed away on September 15, 2015. Funeral at 10AM on Saturday, Sept.19, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Visitation at 9AM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Andy was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph C. Woolsey and Robert W. Woolsey. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy A. Woosley, children Bryce A. Woolsey Jr. (Jeannine) of Independence, Debbie Yates (Brad) of Gladstone, Eddie Woolsey (Abby) of Independence, 7 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, and 2 sisters Penny Lyons and Nancy Poole.
Andy was a member of Glenwood Park United Methodist. He was an Eagle Scout and in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He served in the 101st Airborne Division of the Army. He worked in the Radiology and Biomed field for 40 years, retiring in 1999 from Health Midwest, and served on the Board of Health Midwest Credit Union.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kirksville Manor Care for their loving care of Andy.
