Brian was born on December 19, 1980 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO to Claudia M. Brownfield-Jeffers and Mark T. Jeffers, their first-born. A 2000 graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School and an Eagle Scout with Troop 192 at Old Mission United Methodist Church. Brian was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, November 5, 2022. Brian is survived by his parents, his stepmother, Teresa M. Jeffers, his sister, Nicole (“Niki”) M. Jeffers-Kaiser, his brother, Daniel T. Jeffers, his two adorable children, Reghan A. Reynolds and Maximus T. Jeffers, his nephew, Henry T. Kaiser, his niece, Eleanor R. Kaiser, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brian was gregarious and fun to be around. His smile was amazing – he could light up a room with that smile and his laugh was unforgettable. His heart was as big as a mountain – he dearly loved his kids and family in general – just check out his Facebook page and see all the posts about Reghan, Max, and other family members. He loved animals as well – his favorite dog was Moose – a male Boxer and quite a character himself – they were a good match!
Brian enjoyed socializing with his good friend, Drew Hanson. Friends since grade school, they would take their daughters out to eat or to the lake for the day and always had a good time.
Brian’s trade was lawn and landscaping. He learned everything he knew about lawn sprinkler systems from his mentor and good friend, Garry Bury, his “2nd Dad” as he called him. A huge debt of gratitude is owed to Garry for taking Brian under his wing and always being there for him through the good times and bad!
Recently, he stated that he had been praying a lot and that he was turning his life over to the Lord. No doubt he is now resting comfortably in heaven, no longer in pain or suffering.
