Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am, Thursday December 1st at Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 W. 87th Street, Lenexa, KS. Private Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Bonnie was born in Kansas City, KS to Agnes Clara Goode and Charles Franklin Goode. She attended Wyandotte High School and after graduation, worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company where she met the love of her life, Thomas Pollock.
She married Thomas Pollock on November 22nd, 1958. They were blessed several years later with identical twin sons. They were married for 54 years before his passing in 2013.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Charles; her sisters: Lillian, Maxine, Francis, Mary, June and Shirley.
She is survived by her two sons, Darren (Kimberly), Devin, and four grandchildren, Allison (Danny), and Jack; Sydney (Kyle) and Shelby (Josh); One great-grandchild, Carson; One sister, Susie (Charley) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.; Three furry grand-pups; Romes, Lucy and Bandit.
She attended Johnson County Community College where she earned a Medical Transcription Certification. She worked in the Field of Medical Transcription for many years until her retirement from a plastic surgeon's office.
She had a never-ending unconditional Love for her family. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. When she got to hold Carson for the first time it was love at first sight. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him.
Bonnie so loved her church family as well; “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
