These are my memories of both Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Darby.  They are not alot since they were the older of these siblings in my mother's family.  I will always remember aunt bonnie as a tall, slender, short brown hair aunt  who carried herself so well.  Her eyes were always so kind, just like her voice and words.   She never raised her voice around us and almost seemed like a teacher figure.  We did not visit her house that often but on a few occasions at Christmas time there I will always remember the time around her piano with everyone gathered and singing Xmas songs from the pamphlet that she had with the choir boy on the front page with the red scarf.  I remember mom, aunt Gaylene and Aunt Bonnie is the kitchen baking Xmas cookies including Aunt Gaylenes cherry mash.  Uncle Darby would sit in in his side room on his plaid chair and smoke his pipe and let us sit on his lap to tell us what we wanted for xmas  like Santa while watching TV.  His voice was always so smooth and his pipe would would cascade through the house.  All of us cousins would run out afterwards to the garage and to basement to make up games to play.  When we would go outside we were not allowed to touch Aunt Bonnie's gnomes- she had a bunch...that trailed down her side lawn along the side of her stairs.  That was memories as a child.  As an adult.  I spent little time with them, but did get to see them at the family reunion in 2016 and did talk about my mom happy that they loved golf and almost traveled to our neck of the woods in Florida.  They will both be fondly missed, the pipe smell goes on forever  and the plaid couch and chairs!  Love you both - Jamie and Tracy

Because of her,  I got to know and love a branch of my Beaver Family that I didn't even know existed!!
I was able to spend many happy hours with her and Walt and George and Gaylene.  Special times and special memories that I will forever treasure!!  Thank you, my sweet Bonnie! 💞💞💞

I knew Bonnie as a golfer and a gracious lady. She warmly welcomed me to the Shamrock Ladies golf league 16 years ago. She was a VERY good golfer! It was always a pleasure to be partnered with her -- easy going but serious about her game, generous with advice when asked, and always smiling despite the losses that she and Walter experienced during those years.  I will always remember Bonnie with warm thoughts.

Bonnie, what a strong woman and a fighter. You overcame so many obstacles and stayed true to yourself that you were gonna fight until the end. You always told me that I reminded you of your grandmother: strong, independent and a hard worker. Well, I bet she was just as proud of those qualities in you. I enjoyed our chats and stories as much as you enjoyed watching the kids play. You always told me I was a good mother and I appreciated that. I will miss you looking out for us but I'm glad you're free of pain and with all your boys again!

You are so missed momma Bonnie . Neighbor friend but also like a mother to me . So often you would say if I had a daughter I would want her to be like you . You often told me you loved me . I was raised in foster homes never really had a mother but in you I had one ,so for that I thank you . I’ll miss all our daily talks checking in on you and Darby.  The funny stories the things I’ll never tell lol . I took care of Darby till the end for you . I knew he would go when you went . When your last son passed you said it’s like a circle we by ourselves then the boys they passed now just us. Well that circle is full with Frick and Frack and your boys . I’ll always remember you calling me like a daughter . I love you too momma Bonnie
