Barry Brent Barnes II, 25, a resident of Kansas City, MO, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, July 21, 2019 in Kansas City, MO. Brent was born March 7, 1994 in Kansas City, Missouri to Meredith Jo (Nadler) Barnes and Barry Brent Barnes.

Brent was a beloved son and brother, an awesome uncle, and a cherished friend to many. He was an avid skateboarder and loved his music. You would rarely find him without one of his cherished hats and it seemed as if he had one to match most, if not every outfit. With that being said he has always had a very unique sense of fashion, sometimes not greatest sense but it was something he was very passionate about. Brent always tried to lighten the mood with his goofy personality and has always been very passionate about his family and friends. Although he has always been the quiet one of his parents 6 children, he still had a way of always making people smile no matter the situation. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Brent was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Anita Lou Pieplow and Archie Chester Pieplow, Jr of Kansas City, MO; grandparents, Robert V. Nadler, Anita G. “Dee” Sparr of Kansas City, MO, Hershall L. Barnes, Jr., Beverly B. (Jackson) Barnes of Flag Springs, MO; Aunt: Cathy J. Barnes of Spickard, MO and Uncle: Robert E. Barnes. He is survived by his parents Barry Brent Barnes and Meredith Jo (Nadler) Barnes of Kansas City, MO; Step-Grandfather Raymond J. Sparr of Pleasant Hope, MO; Three sisters: Dusti M. Terrones, Jessalyne R. Barnes and Lili J. Barnes of Kansas City, MO; Two brothers: Robert C. Barnes, Jeremiah L. Barnes of Kansas City, MO; Nieces and Nephews: Maddilyn M. Barnes, Robert C. Barnes Jr., Janya L. Barnes of Kansas City, MO; Uncles: Hershall L. Barnes III of Spickard, MO, Johnny R. Barnes of St. Joseph, MO; Aunts: Jaylyne Nadler of Pleasant Hope, MO and Carrie J. Loveland of Raymore, MO; Along with many cousins and great aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
