Barbara was born March 26, 1942, in East Highland, California to the late Otis and Mary (Gardner) Kackley. She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 brothers and sisters; and her daughter, Tammy R. Denney.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Johnson; her children, Michael (Carrie) Denney, Vernon Denney, LaDonna (Terry) Schmidt and Michelle (Robert) Briggs; stepdaughters, Donna (Mike) Litel and Deeanna Johnson; 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th Street, Kansas City, MO 64133, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM.
