A memorial service will be held April 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Independence, Missouri.
Ann was born on April 11, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was raised in an Air Force family based in Salem, Missouri. She graduated from Salem High School in 1952. She then attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Ann met her future husband of 52 years, Charles E. Rich at the University of Missouri. After a long courtship, they were married on January 11, 1958. She had three children, Michael, Patrick, and Carolyn.
Ann worked for the KC Royals Baseball Corporation, in the mailroom of the Ticket Reservation Center for 25 years. She volunteered faithfully for Heartland Presbytery, as well as an Elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Kansas City Jaycee Wives, PEO, MIZZOU Alumni Association, and a die-hard Royals fan.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Hope Dilworth of St. Louis, Missouri, and her spouse Charles E. Rich.
Ann was the true definition of a Godly woman in every aspect of her life. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church in Independence, Missouri.
