Sue “Granny” Bledsoe, 83, passed away June 12, 2013. A visitation will be held June 15 10:00a.m. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112. Inurnment will be June 21st at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Villa St. Francis, 16600 W. 126th St., Olathe, KS or The Alzheimer’s Association, 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS.
Sue was born in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Alvin Todd and Bella Chaudion. She married Porter L. Bledsoe and had two children, David and Glenda. Sue worked at Robbie Manufacturing in Lenexa, KS for 30 years, retiring in 2007 at the age of 78. She loved dogs and reading gossip magazines aka “Her Bibles”. Her main joy in life was working and visiting with her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband; Porter L. Bledsoe, brother; Alvin “Berl” Todd, and sister; Thelma Leap. She is survived by her son; David W. (Cyndi) Flood of Kansas City, KS, daughter; Glenda K. Muldoon of Glendale, AZ, sister; Cletha Fann of Woodland, CA, grandchildren; Brian Flood of Lee’s Summit, MO, Christopher Kozelle of Omaha, NE, Desiree Evans of Kansas City, KS, Wade (Melissa) Flood of Kansas City, MO, Alex (Christine) Kozelle of Atlanta, GA, and Jodi Stanton of Lenexa, KS and 8 great-grandchildren.
