She worked at Robbie Manufacturing for 13 years and was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church. She was active with the St. Ann Circle which she enjoyed being president of for many years. She will be remembered by her sassy spirit, which complimented her love and collection of Betty Boop.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6 at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 1086 N 94th Street, Kansas City, Ks. Viewing from 9:00am - 10:00am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Burial at Gates of Heaven, Kansas City, KS.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leonard Jones; her parents Robert and Elaine (Strickland) Ray and four sisters, Michael Elaine Oldfield, Sandra Jennings, Pat Johnson and Bobbie Blythe.
She is survived by her sister Carleta Lycke, Kansas City, Ks; her Brother-in-Law George (Barbara) Jones, Kansas City, Mo, Sister-in-Laws Marion Airington, Gladstone, Mo and Florence (Fred) Wilber, Kansas City, Mo. She is also survived by many much loved Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. A special thanks to Jamie Shell, Bea Lewis, John Jennings, and Beverly Jennings, for the love and care. Sharon will continue to be loved and honored within her family and community.
