Harold Dean Jackson, Jr., 74, Shawnee, Kansas passed away July 27, 2018. A visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 3, 2018, also at the funeral home. Interment will be immediately following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Harold worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for about 40 years. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers and Basehor Lion’s Club. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and was devoted to everyone that he knew.
Harold was preceded in passing by his parents, Harold Dean Jackson, Sr. and Leola Sands.
Harold is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joyce; children, Kelly (Kevin) Paxton and Justin Jackson; 4 grandsons, Brandon McDonald, Jonathan Jackson, Sawyer Paxton, and Cooper Paxton; sister, Violet (Michael Allen) Newman; and many other cherished family and friends.
