Fred Murray, 89, of Gravois Mills, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas passed away August 27, 2018 at Lake Regional Medical Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will be immediately following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Fred was born on August 16, 1929 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Frank and Lillie Mae Murray. Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene; son, Timothy Murray; and 2 brothers, Frank Murray and Jack Murray.
Survivors include his sons, Dennis Murray, Michael Murray and Randy Murray; his grandchildren, Melissa and Corey Gatlin, Dennis and Courtney Murray, Angelica Groce, Brian and Shelbi Murray, Jason Murray and Karie and Jason Sims; 15 great grandchildren; and brother, Richard Murray.
