Deborah Sue Woodson

Deborah Woodson, 71, passed away surrounded by family on December 11t h 2022. Deborah was born on February 22, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leo and Sadie Simpson. She worked as a major account representative for several food service companies including Kraft Foods.

Deborah met Don, the love of her life, at a Parents Without Partners event and then they were married in 1984. The couple enjoyed 23 years of marriage until his passing in 2007.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband Don, parents Leo and Sadie and granddaughter Bailey Rochelle. She is survived by her children Mendy Taylor (Bob), Jason Glander (Shelly) and Heather Lindsay (Kris). She leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, January 13th at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
