Although she was an only child, Connie grew up with a very close relationship to her many cousins. She graduated from Washington High School in 1957 and attended Donnelly College. Connie loved spending time with her husband Frank at their winter home in Pharr, Texas, where she enjoyed playing cards with the other residents of Winter Haven Village. She also enjoyed attending musical jam sessions with Frank while in Pharr as well as Frank’s local Kansas City accordion band performances. She was an avid KU Basketball fan and enjoyed cooking and sewing. Connie also enjoyed spending time with her family at their cabin at Lake of the Ozarks, which was built by hand by her father and husband.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents James and Jean Muder. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Frankie Lee Palcher of the home, and no man ever loved a woman more; her daughters Beth Anne Rupert and fiancé James Kornegay of Shawnee, KS, Jeanene Marie Goodwin and her husband Jim of Lawrence, KS, and Jamie Susanne Carey of Basehor, KS; as well as her three grandchildren, Brandon Lee Goodwin, Alexander Cole Wall; and Sydney Marie Goodwin.
