Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his daughters Olivia Martin (Adam) and Hailee Marr (Terran), his adoptive parents David, Penny, and Maureen (deceased) Marr, his brothers, Jordan (Vanessa), Steve, and Alex (Kate), his natural parents Suzanne (Joe) and Steve (Lorraine), and siblings Erin (Rob), Trevor, Kate (Daryl), Stephanie (Chris), his former wife and life-long friend Jeanne (Mike), his girlfriend Channelle Edwards, and countless more family and friends both near and far who loved him dearly. He will be forever missed.
Tim was a lifelong resident of Kamloops, BC, after being born in Nanaimo on October 5, 1975. Growing up, Tim enjoyed golfing, camping, and fishing. After graduating from Kamloops High school in 1994, he moved to Banff and spent time in Victoria prior to moving back to Kamloops where he settled down to start his family.
Tim worked at New Gold mine as an underground miner. He was very kind and valued time with his family and close friends. He was an avid Tragically Hip fan and would often unwind listening to his favourite music (sometimes a little too loudly). His most recently found interest was sailing.
A memorial service will be held in Kamloops at Schoening Funeral home on Saturday, January 21, 2023 @ 1pm. For those who are unable to attend, please send your email to Olivia and Hailee’s aunt Tina at [email protected] by January 20th and a zoom link will be sent to you.
In lieu of flowers, please send any messages or photos of Tim you would like included in the slideshow at the funeral to [email protected]. Please submit these by January 9, 2023.

Don’t try to be up to date
And when the sunlight hits the olive oil
Don’t hesitate
The night’s so long it hurts
My music at work”
