March 12, 1960 - April 12, 2021
The family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Lori at the Royal Inland Hospital on April 12, 2021. Her loving husband and her sisters were at her side.
Lori was an esteemed lawyer who began her legal career as an Articling Student with the Honorable Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. She then became a partner with Fasken-Martineau in Vancouver where she specialized in Labour Law. She was considered a top authority in Canada in this field. Unfortunately, Lori had to take an early retirement due to her ill health.
Lori is survived by her husband, Richard; her loving mother Sally Whitmore and husband Raymond Inder; her step-father Alan Whitmore and wife Denise Soulodre; sisters Leslie Whitmore; Jamie Tomlinson (Gary); Beth Brownlee (Trever); and her brother Darryl Price (Tina); special life-long friend Doris Littleton. She also leaves many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.
"My dearest Wheezy, I am completely devastated that you are gone, but I am grateful and relieved that you're at peace. Your pain and suffering now over. Forever in my heart till we meet again"
