I remember Graces smile and her laugh and her love of life.  I remember Grace when she was a teenager. She wore her hair in a beehive and she worked at the A&W on Portage Avenue as a car-hop. She was beautiful!
I remember Grace when she was a bridesmaid at my wedding. Grace was my Sister-in-law.

Grace was Daytons youngest sister and he loved to tease her.  Grace was the youngest in her family of seven brothers and sisters.

Although Grace was my first cousin, we only really got to know her when she moved to Campbell River.  We enjoyed celebrating our birthdays (we had the same day) at a restaurant  or at Ray & Lorraine's place.  Elvera and I really appreciated Grace and Ray & Lorraine regularly attending our inter church choir Christmas and spring concerts.  Elvera and I enjoyed her sense of humour and getting to know her.

I (Lloyd) and Grace were first cousins and about the same age. I lived on a farm and whenever my parents went shopping in Winnipeg they dropped my brother (Wayne) and I  off at Aunt Florence's place on Beliveau Avenue in St. Vital. I spent many happy hours playing  with Dayton, Faith and Grace. I also remember playing with Grace and her siblings during the 1950 Winnipeg flood when they moved out to our farm to escape the flood waters. About 12 years ago while visiting my brother Wayne and his wife Elvira in  Courtney on Vancouver Island I had a very good visit with Grace in a restaurant. I offer my condolences to her family and my cousins, Lorraine, Dale, Roy and Dayton.

Grace... I have many wonderful memories of our lives together.   I came to Kelowna in the early 1980s.  Newly divorced and alone and in need of friendship.   There I met a few wonderful friends at the singles club.   Grace was with us and her bubbly personality and giggles and laughter made our group special.   
We enjoyed a lot of years of friendship, laughter,  and dancing and enjoyment.    
You were special Grace,  I missed you when you moved away, got married and continued your life with Ernie.

I remember Grace, my beautiful sister-in-law, most of all when we were teenagers.  We went to Young People’s on Fri. night at Calvary Temple , with her sister Faith, and afterwards checked out the boys and took the bus home.
She was my bridesmaid when Dayton and I got married 57 years ago.  She had the best blonde Bee-Hive hair-do ever that made her look so tall and beautiful—always giggling and laughing.  Grace loved nature and God’s creation. —“Safe in the arms of Jesus”—

My deepest condolences to Laura, Anita, Marcel, Danielle and Bryan. 
 When  Laura and I were young kids , I always thought she was so funny the way she would call us “little turkeys” or her expressions “oh rats. “ 
What I remember the most about Grace, is the way she made me feel, she  always had time to listen to the our adventures with such interest. 
Although I only got to see Grace a handful of times through my adult life, she was always warm and kind, and still made you feel the same way. What a gift. 
She was a wonderful lady that will be missed by many.

Grace had such a warm and loving demeanour when I met her. And that laugh! I remember she was always supportive of me on Facebook celebrating accomplishments, and always made me feel like part of the fam! Rest easy grace <3
