Miss you already Gabe.  Even though we didn’t always see eye to eye….David 😉 you really did become a friend, my family.  The opportunity and blessing I’m feeling for being able to stay in your family and have your love will never be forgotten.   You inspired so many people, loved so much and always had an amazing outlook.   The love you gave Brooklyn she will cherish forever and I will remind her of all your times/dates/sleepovers and your cute little rules, forever and always.

Gabriel  was a humble sole. Was caring and helpful stepmother  that guided me towards becoming a better person. I'm greatfull of having her as part of my life and will never forget her gracefull sole. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

One of my favorite childhood memories with Gabe has to be the time we almost destroyed her house trying to build a cat jungle gym. Dad was away on a business trip, Gabe and me were talking about how our cats scratching post was needing to be replaced, next thing you know we were drawing up rough sketches of a very elaborate cat jungle gym with all sorts of different cat runs attached to the walls and ceiling. Neither us at the time had any skills that would remotely warrant giving it a shot, but Gabe was sure we could pull it off before dad got home. Luckily (in retrospect) dad got home early just as we had found all the material needed and were about to start drilling all sorts of holes in the walls, Putting a stop to our elaborate plans.

I know its kind of a specific memory but its a good example of Gabe's character. We would have all but ruined her house just to give this small cat a few days of enjoyment, and Gabe couldn't have cared less about the potential damage. 

Its the loving, caring moments like these that brought a smile to everyone's face that I will miss the most about her. Rest in paradise Gabe.

She was my sister. She was my friend. She was the one I could always count on to see the positive. You need to be positive was a favourite saying of hers. I know those she touched with her laughter and her kindness will miss her dearly as I will. We have the lessons that she has taught us to hold on to and cherish. The lessons she taught us in the last 6 months will be forever remembered. She was one of the strongest most courageous women I have ever known and am truly thankful for the time I had with her. I met my best friend Gabriel in 1997 when we both worked at Pinegrove. I had never met such a positive person. She had a big smile and she made friends with everyone. As she always said "Everything  happens for a reason"and the two of us believed that our paths were meant to cross. I'm so happy they did!Our time together, all of our happy memories are so precious to me. We danced, double dated,shared secrets,laughed, hiked,biked,swam ,boated,crocheted and shopped. Gabriel was like a sister to me and inspired me in so many ways. She set the bar high in that she was an example of what we should all strive to be. She had such grace ,even throughout her illness. 
Rest in peace beautiful soul.

I am so glad to have met such a caring and beautiful woman. Fighting her battle with no fear and staying strong, knowing that many prayers and love came her way. We have created an unforgettable bond filled with memories, I'm grateful to have been by her side through the journey and help take care of her the best I could. I loved hearing all her stories all the way from moving to Kamloops with her family, to raising her son David, to meeting Jan and being a part of his life with his two sons Dakota and Brock. We had so many months filled with lots of laughs and some tears, days that were filled with so much energy and keeping me on my toes. She has guided me to a different view of life and inspired me to look into a new career path. She also always lit up the room with her positive energy, putting a smile on everyone's face and I loved seeing her smile in return. I'm so happy to be apart of such a big family and be apart of her beautiful life. There won't be a time where she will be forgotten, she is missed very much by many people and very loved. My condolences to all friends and family.

My love, My best friend of almost 20 years who brought me so much calm and stability in my life. We enjoyed our precious time being alone together! She was the easiest person to live with, who had so much patience and love in our relationship. She was the most content person I have ever known, with so much common sense! It may have taken me 20 years to find her, but the search and wait were well worth the 19 /1/2 years we spent togheter!  You will never be forgotten my love!
