

Eunice Lahapa Kalaniumi (Branco) Puou, 73, of Lāhaina, passed away on November 20, 2020 at her home in Lāhaina, Maui. She was born on March 15,1947 in Honolulu, Oʻahu. She is the daughter of Albert Gomes Branco of Kalihi, Oʻahu and Emma Moeala Henrietta Papa of Honolulu, Oʻahu.
Eunice is predeceased by her husband Benjamin Kamaka Puou Jr., of Lāhaina, Maui.
She is survived by her Children: Henridene “Deanie” (Nua Tupola), Benjamin “Kamaka J” (Korlleen), Albert “Tuga” (Nani Lee), Kanani;
Grandchildren: Deanart “Kaleo” Puou-Guzon, Mosese Tupola, Nelson Llanes III (Hannah Teves), Shaleina (Lono) Kekoa, Devonte Llanes, Jazimine “Jazzy” Aloiau, Xavier “X-Man” Aloiau, Kevin “Inoalani” Aloiau, Jensen Puou, Blazen Puou, Wysemyn “Bubu” Haia Corpuz-Latuselu.
Great Grandchildren: Nelson Anthony Llanes IV, Braizley Kaleihiwahiwa Kekoa, Bailey Kawenamaikalani Kekoa, Koa Aloiau-Zeithammel.
Eunice is also predeceased by her brother Albert “Alapaki” Branco and sister Debra “Debbie” Kelsey.
She is survived by her Sisters: Rose Martha “Mata” Branco of Waimānalo, Alberta “Berta” Naleieha of Waimānalo, Lillian “Bonnie” (Ken) Cline of Onalaska,Washington; May “Chubbie” Branco of Waiʻanae, and Manoa “Fatso” (Antoine) Davis of Arlington, Virginia.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and for the safety of our ʻOhana, private services will be held. A public celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
