Originally from Miami, Suzanne graduated from Hialeah-Miami Lakes High School. She went on to study Medical Technology at Miami Dade College.
Suzanne began her life with Sal, her husband of 33 years, when they wed in 1989. Together, they raised their son Gabriel and daughter Mia.
As a family, the Senzatimores danced, enjoyed music and traveled the world. Fitness and friendship were especially important to Suzanne, to the extent that she completed two Ironman races, along with many marathons, triathlons, and scenic road races. The time that she spent cycling, running, swimming, dancing and weight lifting led to tribes of people who have loved and adored her.
“Sweet Suzanne” radiated optimism, and with her genuine sweetness, she also possessed great strength. She will be fondly remembered as small and mighty “Turbo” to her triathlete tribe. Suzanne was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. In addition to Sal, Gabriel, and Mia, Suzanne will be greatly missed by her father Jack Major and his wife Kathleen, her mother Andrea Taulbee and her husband Meryl, along with countless individuals whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 24th at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Suzanne's name to one of the following charities: Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
