Sheila was born October 17, 1962 in Brockton, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin Gill and Inez Gibbons Gill. She is survived by her husband Tom, children, AJ and Caelan Pollock, sister, Rosemary Maloney, stepsons Raymond, Thomas and John Sulentic, three adorable grandsons, Chase, Colt and Nico Sulentic, sons of Raymond and nieces, Jacquelyn and Rachelle Cucca.
She prided herself on her first job as a waitress and never failed to mention it while out to eat or entertaining at home. Hospitality ran through her veins, as she would naturally be the first one to ask if she could get you something to eat or drink. She spent over 25 years with BankNewport, retiring in 2014 as SVP, Controller after receiving her undergraduate degree from Bryant University and MBA from the University of Rhode Island.
Sheila was known by many names: SheShe, Pickleball Queen, Princess and Momma to name a few. She had a strong passion for people. She was the type of person where you could meet her once and instantly feel like you have known her all your life. She lit up a room when she entered with her infectious smile, bubbling personality and love of life. It was five o’clock somewhere with a tall glass of Chardonnay, she lived for some good friendly competition, whether it was a game of pickleball or the neighborhood NFL pool, and had a hilariously terrible singing voice. Most importantly, she was a woman of God and loved and supported her family and friends unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by all.
