RuthAnn was a graduate of Hurricane High School, class of 1956 where she met the love of her life, Jimmie K. Craddock and together they shared 67 years of marriage. RuthAnn most recently attended Christ Fellowship Church, Palm Beach Gardens Campus where she loved participating in women's Bible studies and fellowship. Previously a founding member of the First Baptist Church of Palm Beach Gardens she enjoyed teaching women's Sunday School classes for several years. She could often be found in the Nursery sharing her devout love of Jesus with the children. Christ shined through RuthAnn's sweet spirit and caring demeanor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her and are holding to the promise of reuniting in the presence of God Almighty in Heaven.
RuthAnn and her husband Jim were the founders of Pipeline Utilities, Inc. in Palm Beach County in 1976. Pipeline Utilities has grown into one of the premier underground utility companies in South Florida. They retired after nearly 25 years to enjoy travel and many adventures together.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Ray and Theda (Roach) Fletcher; her brothers, Hubert Ray (“Sonny”) and John Wade Fletcher.
She will be missed by her two loving children, Catherine Ann (Mark) Baker of Jupiter FL and Buckhannon WV; her son, J. David (Lisa) Craddock of Palm Beach Gardens & Duck Key FL; grandchildren, Matthew Judson (Christina) Craddock; Michael James Baker, Suzanne Ruth (Phil) Staff, Melissa Ann Baker, Monica Catherine (Keith) Robbins, all of the Jupiter FL area; step-grandson, James C. Bailey III;
great grandchildren, James Bailey IV, Walkar James and Charlotte Marie Craddock, Noraa Marie Abdella and Stella James Staff and Elayna Rose Robbins; as well as several nieces, nephews and many special loving friends.
She will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, FL on Saturday Sept 30, 2023 surrounded by her immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be planned and announced at a later date.
RuthAnn and Jim have requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her memory to The Wounded Warrior Project who so graciously continue to assist her Naval Veteran Grandsons special needs. Link to web site: supportwoundedwarriorproject.org
