Roger O'Neil Boyer

Born in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania on May 13, 1933 to Russell and Anna Dreibelbis Boyer died November 11, 2013 in North Palm Beach, Florida. He graduated from Reading High School and received an aeronautical engineering degree from the Tri-State University. He served in the US Navy aboard the Carrier USS Intrepid and retired from Pratt-Whitney Aircraft Company.

Mr. Boyer was a 50 year member of Lake Park Community United Church of Christ where he served in many capacities. He also served on the North Palm Beach Recreation Board as a member of the Jay Cees and an avid participant in Scouting Activities. He had a passion for wood working, especially making toys, making and flying model planes, and model railroads.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia (Gibble) Boyer; daughters Valerie Boyer of Palm Beach Gardens, Daughter and Son-in-law Daphne and John Sjolander of Indialantic and two grandchildren Robert and Christina Sjolander of Charlotte, NC. He is predeceased by a son Eric.
