Peter had a friendly smile and was creative, sensitive, and kind he had a quick wit and sense of humor. His passions included Harley Davidson motorcycles, music, boating, professional wrestling, cars, swimming in his pool, spending time with his significant other Beth and getting everyone together for family gatherings and holidays. Pete loved taking his two dogs Milah and Kona outside to enjoy the beautiful oasis in his backyard that he had created, constructed, and constantly critiqued and even changed more than a few times. He adored his children, Alec, Abby and Tatum, his daughter in law, Velvet and granddaughter, Ashley. As an exceptionally wonderful father, Pappa, and friend, he would help anyone who needed him. Being a terrific salesman helped him succeed in his many businesses which included home-improvement, remodeling and decorating, mortgage loans, landscaping and selling FedEx trucks. As a jack of all trades he always found a creative solution to any problem that he faced. Pete was born in St. Louis and moved to Florida in 1995 when his biggest fan, his mom, Penny said go ahead honey take a chance. He left us far too soon and will be deeply missed by everyone whose life was graced by his kind soul.
He is survived by his parent Larry (late Penny) Kanefield; sisters Lisa (Frank) Messina and Angie Kanefield; son Alec (Velvet) Rosen; daughters Abigail Rosen and Tatum Rosen; granddaughter Ashley Rosen.
