Judy graduated from Seacrest High School in Delray. She worked as a travel agent, a real estate agent, in property management, and owned a commercial janitorial service.
Mom was a great hostess, had a keen eye for interior design on the cheap, and was a cut-throat Skip-Bo player. She had an adventurous streak, learning to drive a motorcycle at age 50. She owned her own bike and loved going on road trips through the southeast. Mom enjoyed travel, going to live music performances, shopping at Beall’s Outlet, and her “pitcher of wine.”
Mom is predeceased by her sister, Joan Katilus. She is survived by daughters Kathy Putnam (Michael Broussard), Terri Martinez (Michael), and Andi Putnam, as well as her sister Betty Ann Guber (Fred). She also leaves three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews.
Thank you for always being there for us, Mom. We love you.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life later this year. Judy’s ashes will be scattered in the Florida Keys.
