Heather Kay Rose

Heather was born in Elkins West Virginia on December 20, 1973. She was a graduate of Cicero North Syracuse High School in Cicero New York and received a Bachelors degree from Florida Atlantic University.

She married Richard Rose on May 18, 2002 and has resided in Jupiter Florida ever since. Heather was a teacher for the Palm Beach County School district for sixteen years, most recently spending several years teaching English and Literature at the A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. Heather was beloved by her students, with many of them visiting and writing to her on numerous occasions after they graduated and went off to college.

Heather was an avid reader and lived in a house filled with books. She also loved to travel, going on many adventures with her husband Richard.

Heather is survived by her loving husband Richard, mother Kay Hinds, Father Blaine Hinds (Sharla) and sisters Deidre Vogler (Timothy), Danielle Shane (Kristopher), and Ashley Krause (Gregory). She was also survived by her nieces and nephews Shane, Colleen, Claire, Hayden, Garrett, Zander, Austin, Haley, Kaiden and Keegan. Heather, a lover of animals also leaves behind three fur babies, Henry, Juno and Penny.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation who were invaluable to Heather and her family in the final days of her life.
