Gwendolyn Hilderman

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Leigh Hilderman, 57, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL died peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends. Gwen was born on July 22, 1966 in West Palm Beach, FL; the daughter of Sharon and James Hilderman. Gwen graduated from Jupiter High School, Class of 1984.

She leaves behind her son, Christian Lucas (Cortney) Keogel; her granddaughter, RoseLynn Koegel; her mother, Sharon Hilderman; one sister, Anne Hilderman; 5 nieces and nephews and dozens of cousins, aunts and uncles in FL and CT and last but certainly not least her beloved dog, Cubby.

She was predeceased by the love of her life, Christian Koegel in 1999; her father, James Hilderman; her brother ,James B. Hilderman and her grandparents.

We appreciate all the love and support from the Koegel Family who loved and cared so deeply for Gwen.

Our beloved Gwen passed away far too soon after fighting health complications in Tampa, Florida. She was truly one of those rare people who impacted lives in big and small ways. Gwen will always be remembered for her big heart, enthusiasm for sharing life with others and the love she had for those closest to her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at the home of Kelli Fusco, 5481 Hibiscus Road, Jupiter, FL 33458.

We are thankful to all the staff at Tampa General Hospital, Lung Transplant Unit for all their loving support and true compassion and care while she was there.
