Passed away on September 2, 2012 in Stuart, FL. He was born in Verdon, Nebraska to George and Florence (Raper) Johnson. He had one brother Cecil who recently passed away. He also has a half-sister Karen Edmiston who lives in Nebraska City.
Clarence graduated in Verdon from Class of 1935. He was married to Eileen Johnson on August 13, 1938. They have 3 children, Ronald Johnson, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bonnie Whitten of Jupiter, Florida and Alan Johnson of Moline, Illinois.
Clarence served in WWII, US Marine Corps, after returning, he worked for Apple Off Appliance in Falls City as an electrician. In 1955, he moved to Omaha and continued his electric work as a foreman on large construction sites such as schools, churches, banks, shopping malls, etc. Clarence retired in 1981. In 1985, they moved to Mesa, Arizona until moving to Florida to be closer to Bonnie. His greatest joy during retirement was playing golf.
There are 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren which brought him great joy.
