Annie was born in Orlando, Florida on April 20, 2005. She is survived by her mom, Pamela Nagel Jorgensen; dad, Scott Jorgensen; sister Mallory Fundora; brother James Jorgensen; maternal grandparents Lindsay and Connie Trim; paternal grandparents Frank and Doris Jorgensen, her furry family Buttercup and Jasmine; uncle David Nagel and his wife Laura Nagel; uncle Rodney Nagel; and cousin Jacob Nagel. She was predeceased in death by her uncle, Sergeant Jeffrey Nagel.
Annie’s family moved to Kansas City, Pam’s hometown, when Annie was 3. She attended Pembroke Hill School, Belinder Elementary School, Indian Hills Middle School, and Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kansas. Annie was an award-winning competitive dancer and gymnast, and captain of the Freshman Dance Team. After moving to Jupiter, Florida, she became a member of the Jupiter High School Warriors Dance Team. She was an honor roll student, and her favorite classes were dance and anatomy. Annie was an adrenalin junkie. Swimming with the sharks was next on her list. She loved anything fast and furious…driving, boating, jet skiing, and tubing.
It was a privilege to call her daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Annie was strong-willed, pushed back against the norm, lived by her own rules, and challenged the mainstream. Annie was a force to be reckoned with. As a toddler, her nickname was “Hurricane Annie.”
Annie entered the world on her own terms, and left us the same way.
Annie, may you find peace in the arms of God and may we all be kind to one another.
