Patricia Diane Hickey

After 19 years of dedicated service, Mrs. Hickey retired as a Rural Carrier from the U. S. Postal service. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and attending auctions. She cherished her family and enjoyed cooking for them.

A native Georgian, Mrs. Hickey was born in 1947. In 1963, she married Gordon Thomas Hickey, to whom she was married for 52 years until his death in January, 2015.

Mrs. Hickey is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Thomas Hickey; her parents: Hubert & Lucille (Mahaffey) McDaniel; her two sisters, Janice McDaniel and Deborah Brooks; and her brother, Hubert McDaniel, Jr. Mrs. Hickey is survived by two daughters: Tonya Renee Moncus and Tina Michelle Harrison; four grandchildren: CJ Elton Harrison, Ashley Diana Lillian Lott, Brian Anthony Harrison and Thomas Neil Champion; three great-grandchildren: Aliyah Mosley, Destin Harrison and Skyler Harrison.

The family will receive friends at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5th from 4PM-8PM. A funeral service will be held at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6th at 1PM. Burial will immediately follow at the Sherwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
