Wow I can’t believe this to your mom my deepest condolences, I was just there when Lory had her accident now she wouldn’t even understand, man we just got news because Lory daughter is graduating and she wanted us to contact you and we tried and tried until someone gave us this horrible news I haven’t stopped thinking about you since wow the tears, I can truly remember every moment we shared why wouldn’t you tell us you was part of this family wow I will truly miss you BIRD- Melicyclemoo

It's really tough knowing that you graduated. Where u think it is peace at it instantly forms into a empty hole that we can't fill.  That hurt won't ever leave. Well, I’m back again. Today was to be your 41st birthday. Danny, Danae, Byron and I remembered but there was no cake, no singing, and no special dinner.  Oh my GOD how I miss you so much. Yes, yes, yes, I know you are going to tell me you are okay. You are with Mom, Pop, Jr, Jazzy and Tonka (and anyone else) and that it’s okay. Well it’s not however I will have to figure that one out on my own.

Happy Heavenly 41st Birthday My Sweet Angel!

My dearest Melissa this year will be the first year without you for the holidays.  It’s going to be tough but we will give it a go. Of course you know what the kids want, Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, asparagus and spanakopita.  Yes, you heard me correctly. I’m sure we will save you a piece(until later when someone wants to eat it). Anyway, I love you and miss you. 
        Has Yiayia tried to put Beautiful on you yet?  How are Pop and Mom doing? Tell them I said I love them and we all miss them.

Bird your team played today and u know how much I don't care for the Cowboys. But out of love for you today I didn't call them the Cowgirls. I miss you Big Bird. 💙

I'm back here again Bird. And I still am lost for words. I feel if I talk to Mama V I'ma start crying all over again. It's been a rough couple of weeks and while some lives have went on back to normal. Some of us are still stuck in the fog. We miss you big bird. 


We only knew you for a short period of time, however, you made a tremendous impact on our team. You volunteered and supported every event and meet.  Back in May you sent a message to the group stating: 

Coach I want to give you your flowers and thank you for all your hard work and caring for these children!! Since the Clayton County Striders to TAE!! Most ppl talk and make empty promises but you have helped me with my son and called, checked upon, and showed up!! For my son and for that I will always be greatful!! 

During your last days you went to the Atlanta United game and swam at Spivey Splash with us and stayed in the pool all day! You called and texted in the hospital and we told you that we would have your back - and we always will!

We are so grateful that you decided to be a part on this team. We love you!



Bird, I can't eat this one you really know how to shake the world don't you. Lol. My heart hurts Melissa, you know I call you that when I'm mad at you, and you  would always say "Awww Grow Up WeeWun". Lol I won't hear  that no more, but I'm happy, your at Peace Bird. 12yrs was nowhere enough time with you one of my best friends I won't get them Call your Mama Vicki She loves you comments no more , lol man so many memories Bird, but You really got us with this one you are missed My hearts goes out to Mama Vicki, Byron, Lil Danny and Danae.  I Love Y'all 

So sad to see such a lovely woman leave this earth so soon. From the first time I met you, I knew that your kids were number one. To you coming back to the center to look for Danny’s jacket to making sure Danae had her laptop. You always made sure that the kids were good! I admired what a great mom that you were. You will always be remembered. Praying for strength for your mom and family! 

May Melissa rest in peace.  Prayers for Vicky and entire family.  

Melissa, May you rest in peace.  The heavens gained a good one,   To young to soon!  The kids are in good hands and will be okay.  Rest peacefully. 💕

To my dear Best friend I just want you to know that you changed my life in a time of need …you were a light that brightened up any dark times I had ,you made me smile when I was down even if you were down yourself.the love I have for you is like no other and it was the most genuine relationship I’ve ever had with anyone and hate that it had to get cut so short .just know I miss you so much and you will never be forgotten. I will love you always lisser Pooh .







My sweet daughter, 40 years was not enough time on earth. Watch over Danny and Danae, and look out for Byron and me. My heart aches and one day it won’t hurt so bad.
