Emilia Garcia Lopez

Emilia is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Antonia Garcia; husband, Richard Joseph Lopez; brothers, Gabriel Garcia and Manuel Garcia; sisters, Refugia Arellano and Antonia Garcia.

Emilia is survived by her loving sons and spouses, Richard Joseph (Johnna) Lopez, Jr., Frank (Jeff Mitchell) Lopez, and daughters, Antoinette Cordova, Alice (Jose) Rodriguez, Rachel (Roberto) Castaneda; Rebecca (Phillip) Bright, 14-grandchildren; brothers, Jesus Garcia, Anastacio Garcia; Benjamin Garcia, and Francisco Garcia; sister, Margarita Chavez and a host of other friends and family members.

Emilia’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Tara Garden Chapel – 681 North Avenue – Jonesboro, GA 30236. (770) 471-7171.

Emilia will lie in state on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church – 591 Flint River Road – Jonesboro, GA 30236 with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 AM

Emilia will be laid to rest following the Funeral Mass at Camp Memorial Park– 1095 Hwy 54 East – Fayetteville, GA 30214. (770) 461-9518.
