Tyler Joseph Powell, 30, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1991 in Columbus, OH a son to Nancy Raver and James Powell Jr. Tyler loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, Baltimore Ravens and was a member of The Johnstown Johnnies Football team. He enjoyed hanging out with his best friend, Michael and spending time with his friends dog’s Baby and Emma. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Shuman, Clara “Becky” Disbennett and John Shuman; cousins, John “Cody” Disbennett and Sarah (Charlie) Disbennett Bolen; grandfather, James Powell Sr. and best friends, Michael Derringer, Caleb Dowell, Vaugh Green, Vincent Green and Nathan Rupp. Tyler is preceded in death by his brother, James Wesley Powell; uncles, Charles Disbennett Sr. and Russell Jenkins and grandparents, John Russell Shuman, Mary Alice Shuman and Sharon Powell.
