Edna E Davis

Family and friends may gather from 10am-12pm Friday, September 8, 2023 at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 225. N. Main St. Johnstown, OH 43031. A service is to follow at 12pm, with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating.

The burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, OH.

Edna was born March 28, 1928 in London, England to Thomas and Amelia (Dowdall) Williams. She married Myron Ray Davis, the love of her life, on February 3,1951 in Bovingdon, Herts, England. He passed away February 6, 2006.

Edna worked as a teletype operator at the Royal Air Force Station in Bovingdon, England, where she met her husband. After their marriage she did not work outside the home. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in La Salle.

Edna enjoyed history, travel, being with family and good food. While married they traveled extensively in the United States, Europe and the Mediterranean.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years and her Great- Grandson Caleb Lewis.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Diane) Davis of La Salle, IL and John (Elizabeth) Davis of Pataskala, OH. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and, 5 Step Grandchildren and 25 Great – Grandchildren.
