David W Bryan, age 58, of Alexandria, joined the Lord after a long battle with ALS on July 18th, 2023. He was born on November 21, 1964, to the late Wayne Bryan and Virginia (Bingham) Bryan in Bloomfield, NM. He graduated from Bloomfield High School (New Mexico) in 1983 then joined the United States Navy where he served 4 years studying as a communications specialist, earning the achievement award. He spent most of his career as a drilling supervisor in the oil field. His most valuable title was “Papa” to his plethora of grandchildren. He enjoyed baseball, Dallas Cowboys football, the Ohio State Buckeyes, many genres of music, and especially coaching baseball.
He is proceeded in death by his father Wayne Bryan (Bloomfield, NM).
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Teresa (Meyers) Bryan; mother, Virginia (Bingham) Bryan; sisters, Roxana (Ben) Brown and Vivian Svochak; brother, Aubrey Bryan; children, Eddie Compton III, Edward (Jerjay) Compton Jr., Megan (Michael) Moss, Michael Compton, Cory (Michelle) Compton, Cody Compton, Michael (Lea) Bryan, Crystal (Ryan) Roberts, Marc (Nakia) Bryan; grandchildren, Mason, Mia, Madelyn, Owen, Skylee, Cylis, Lance, Issy, Grey, Kingdon, Mary, Kymber, Riley, Kira, Jaiden, Laila, and Cameron. Friends may call Monday, July 24, 2023, at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N Main St. Johnstown, OH 43031. Memorial service will be held the following day at 11 a.m. with John Guthmann officiating, with Graveside services immediately following at Maple Grove Cemetery, 105 Maple Dr. Alexandria, OH 43001.
