Daniel Paul Hurt, age 83, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Lakebridge Health Care Center. He was born in Jonesborough, Tennessee, a son of the late Clyde Hurt, Jr. and Willie Arnold Hurt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Stanley and Judy Phillips; and three brothers, Jimmie Lee Hurt, Joe Edward Hurt, and Kenneth Delmar Hurt.
Paul was a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together. Paul was truly a man of God. He loved everyone!
He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Woodby and Libby Cross; one brother, Eugene Hurt; and several nieces and nephews.
