Susan Nan Miller

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Miller of Stuart, FL; her children, Sara Nan Blocklyn, (Sam) of Arlington, TX, Claranne Miller Laning (Drew) of Little Rock, AR, Matthew R. Miller of Russellville, AR; grandchildren, Ty William Blocklyn, Claire Ann Blocklyn, Miller Grace Laning; brother, Joseph Patrick McGuigan (Vicki) of Nashville, TN; brother and sister in-laws, John Miller (Karen) of Collinsville, OK, Eugene T. Miller (Beth) of Batesville, AR, Carol Smith (Stuart) of Batesville, AR; and, nephews and niece, Joseph Patrick McGuigan, Kevin McGuigan, Jeffery Smith, Jason Miller, Clint Miller, Stephen Miller, Stephanie Miller, Kevin Smith, and Quinton Smith.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph James McGuigan and Ida Doris McAllister McGuigan.

Susan would say her most accomplished role was raising her children. She then went on to share that love with others as a teacher and director of a moms day out program at First Methodist Church in Russellville, AR. Her love for children touched many lives. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. We will miss her deeply.

Graveside services will be held in Huntsville, AL at the Maple Hill Cemetery on Saturday December 17, at 10:00 AM. Flowers may be delivered to Laughlyn Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimers Association (alz.org).
