He was born May 27, 1940 in Brownsville, a son of the late Leslie A. Faulk Sr. and Rose Kramer.
Les was a 1958 graduate of Brownsville High School and a 1963 graduate of then Waynesburg College, with a bachelor’s degree in education.
He taught in South Park School District for 35 years before his retirement.
Les was a member of St. Matthias Parish, the Knights of Columbus and a life member of the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company.
On April 24, 1970 he married Drusilla Weston, who survives. The two loved each other deeply and did everything together. They especially enjoyed watching the Pirates and sitting on the porch enjoying an evening cup of coffee, even in the heat of summer.
When you think about Les, think of his favorite Frank Sinatra song, “My Way”.
Also surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Leigh Ann Faulk (BJ Tedrow) of Waynesburg; two grandsons, whom he adored, Wyatt Wilson and Clay Wilson of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lasosky’s PC Home and OSPTA Hospice for their phenomenal care pf Les. They treated him like family, tending to his every need. Their care of him in such a difficult time is unprecedented.
