Clayton was a happy person. He loved life and people, Harleys and grits. He just loved and enjoyed being alive. He was always happy, always had a smile on his face and he never meet a stranger. Clayton loved his sister, Renea and wanted everyone to know she was his sister. He loved his brother-in-law Walter as he felt as he now had a brother. He was so thankful for the things God had blessed him with. Clayton loved his home, but now he is in his forever home, a mansion and the streets are paved with gold. “No one will ever take his place or fill the hole he left in my heart as he was not just my brother, he was my best friend. I am so glad that God choose me to be his sister, it was an honor; Renea.”
He was preceded in death by his parents; W.C. and Edith Steadman.
He is survived by his sister Renea Cain Goetzmann (Walter); his special friends he ate lunch with every Thursday; James and Lisa Wells, Bob and Elanie, Cherly Darty, Weasley Mansasco, Jennifer Cain and Danny Barton; his neighbors, Joey and Valerie Duke Hailey, Jaicey and Maddie; his golf buddy , Bob Burkhart; his Auburn buddy, Joe Hunt and dear friends, Dawn and Charles Kamplain; 2 cousins he loved like brothers, Lloyd Kitchens and Dennis Kitchens; nephew, Shane Jones and his dad Richard Jones and Coleen; nieces, Shannon and Caitlin; great nieces, Lauren McGraw (Tommy) and Rory Smith; great nephew, Brandy Givens and his dad Mike; great great nephew Westley; uncle Rev.
