Tim was the most adventurous man you could be around. He had stories that some people didn't believe but if he told you it happened, then he did it and it happened. He was a little crazy and a lot goofy. He lived to cut-up, joke, prank and aggravate. He always wanted to make the people around him laugh and smile. He was also the kindest, friendliest, loving, and caring man you could meet. If you spent time with him you know his generosity had no boundaries. He helped people and never wanted any attention or praise for doing it. He only wanted to help because that was where his heart was. He loved his children, grandchildren and family with every part of his heart. He was a good cook and would make some of the best grilled food you could eat. He was a member of Jasper Sportsman Club for several years and would spend many days only visiting, he didn't have to hunt, he just wanted to spend time with good friends. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and horseback riding.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Jackie Sherer; brother, James Sherer; niece, Jackie Grace; and nephew, Logan Sherer.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey Sherer; children, Emily Gurganus (Rob), Laura Roberson (Charles), Will Sherer, Abby Sherer, Isabell Sherer and Van Duncan (Shelbie); grandchildren, Anna Laura Gurganus, Drew Gurganus, Hope Roberson, Eden Roberson, Samuel Sherer, and Cason Sherer; sister, Suzette Grace (Rodney), brother, Thomas Sherer (Darlene); father in law and mother in law, Freddy and Judy West; sister in law, Jami Brown. He also leaves behind his nephews, nieces and other extended family and friends that he loved dearly. We would like to thank Alabama Hospice Care and Chad Ingle his nurse that took such good care of him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Dovertown Church of Christ, 284 Hubbard Loop Jasper, AL 35501.
