Waylon Tittle, 67, of Nauvoo, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 1p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Ashbank Cemetery. Bro. Dwight Bailey and Bro. JD Dickerson will officiate.
Waylon Tittle was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and husband. He was known as an amazing coach, community volunteer, jack-of-all trades and a farmer. He loved God and his family and was always the first to offer assistance to those in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Radine Tittle; wife, Sherie Tittle; and son, Jeremy Tittle.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Tittle and Kimberly Tittle; wife, Cynthia Tittle; step-children, Adam Potts (Jennifer) and Mary Darden (Jon); granddaughter, Renee Darden; siblings, Skipper Tidwell, Jo Dodd, Terry Tittle (Barbara), Dennis Tittle (Brenda), Minnie Batesole (Scott), Earl Tittle (Vicki); Roger Tittle (Rita) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Todd Tittle, Kevin Tittle, Mason Tittle, Brian Gunnels, Jarrod Tidwell, Daniel Tittle, Andrew Crawford, and Jon Darden.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
