Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 12 until 2 p.m., at New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church, with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Service will follow at New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church at 2 p.m., with burial at New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Cemetery of Nauvoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Hazel Montgomery; sister, Annette Martin; in-laws, Garlin and Nelladean Sparks and brother-in-law, John Oliver Atkins.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Donald Sparks; children, Bryan Sparks (Stephanie) and Stacey Cagle (Paul); grandchildren, Whitney Johnson (Alex), Kyle Cagle (Haley), Katie Payne (Alex), and Joseph Cagle (Michaela); great grandchildren, Brylie Kate, Peyton, Kolt, Luke, Emma and Iris; siblings, Sue Atkins, Jim Montgomery (Sharon) and Debra Moyer (Tommy) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Cagle, Joseph Cagle, Alex Johnson, Alex Payne, Dan Tucker and Jeff Sparks.
