Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Patton Hill Cemetery. David Hood, Matt Woods and Mark Howell will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leburn and Ruth Thacker; brother, Kenneth Ray Thacker; in-laws, Arnold and Osbourn Woods; brothers and sisters – in-law, Edgar Pendley, Garland Woods, Ilene Houts, Ora Mae Poe, William Woods, Dennis Woods and Debbie Woods.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carlos Woods; daughter, Rhonda Blanton (David); son, Steven Woods (Lisa); grandchildren, Zac Blanton, Caleb Woods, Connor Woods, Olivia Blanton, Carly Woods, Calyn Woods, and Peyton Morris; sister, Jean Pendley; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Jill Harris (Ron), James Woods (Linda Sue), Marilyn Woods, Jim Woods and Paul Poe and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
