Linda Mae Madison Horton

Family will be receiving friends at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Kilgore-Green Chapel at 2:30 p.m., with burial at Lockhart Hill Cemetery.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend. She loved cooking for family get-togethers, creating floral arrangements and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Dewayne McCluskey; parents, Claude Clem Madison and Eula Mae Pendley Madison; and siblings, James Riley Madison, Martha Harbin Stidham, Hester Deloyd “Itchy” Madison, Leroy Madison and Bertha Benton.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald “Jerry” Horton; children, Teresa Gail Gilbert (Gary), Marsha Ann Morrow (Cecil) and Jeremy Wayne Horton (Michaella); grandchildren, Racheal Nerud (Miles), Lindsey Gilbert, Matthew Gilbert (Alicia), Wade Morrow, Michael Morrow, Kaleb, Kyson, Haley, Macy, Cash, Brentley, Lilly, Lake, Lee, McKenna; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Arwin Gilbert; brother, James “Jim” Lindsey (Jane); mother-in-law, Norma Horton; sister-in-law, Becky Sanford and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
