James Rouse

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 12 until 1 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Bro. Joe Fowler will officiate.

James was a CPL in the Marines. He worked for Schwerman Trucking Company for 11 years and drove many long haul trips for Schreiber Corp., Patterson and Leeds Trucking Co. He was also a park and campground host for the US Army Corps of Engineers in

Fulton MS and FL. James resided in Bear Creek for approximately 18 years. He will be missed by those who loved him and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Edna Rouse; brother, Harold Rouse; sister, Diane Bean of Harrisburg, VA; grandparents, James and Vye Rouse.

He was survived by his daughters, Jamie Brewer (Phillip) of Flora Vista, New Mexico and Christy Rouse of Odenville, AL; grandchildren, Joe Klein Brewer and Joe Lynn Brashear; sisters, Betty Arnold of Leeds, Barbara Jefferson (Austin) of Jasper and Patricia McMahon of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; very good friend Brenda West and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
