Dennis Ralph Tallant

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Rick Sherer will officiate.

Denny was a beloved brother, uncle, bonus dad and friend. His most prized position was being a papa. He was an accomplished photographer, lover of nature and animals and a true music connoisseur. He was a wonderful "Papa Denny" and will be missed every day. We take great comfort in knowing that when he awoke he was at the foot of The Father and in perfect health.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jeraldean Tallant; uncles, Billy Tallant and Bobby Tallant; grandparents, Louis and Velvie Tallant and Dawson and Lucille Benson.

He is survived by his daughter, Asha Handley; beloved granddaughter, Anna Rice; grandsons, Alex Rice, Austin Rice, Cole Willcutt and their grandmother, Aletha Tallant; sister, Debbie Courington; nephew, Eric Courington (Lupita); niece, Sara Courington; great niece, Lily Courington; uncle, Jack Benson (Linda); aunt, Pat Hunter (Lynn) and a host of wonderful friends and family.
