Mr. Bill Shirley

The family will receive friends today, Aug. 11, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be held today, Aug. 11, 2018, at 12 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Bethel Cemetery in Oakman. Bill Phillips will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Dean Shirley; parents, Frank and Polly Shirley; siblings, Pete Kimbrell, Ann Hopson (Bill), James E. Kimbrell, and Charles F. Shirley; grandparents, Henry and America Shirley, and Dick and Annie Earnest; in-laws, Tom and Nicie Martin of Oakman, and Levert Odom; and nephews, James L. Kimbrell and Mike Kimbrell

He is survived by his wife, Angela Faye Shirley; children, Jackie Lee (Randy) of Jasper, and Billy Shirley (Christy) of Oakman; adopted son, Randy J. Smallwood of Oakman; grandchildren, Matthew Lee, Heath Miller, Billy Jack Shirley Jr., Dylan Shirley, Megan Wright, Charlie Chappel, Erica Chappel, and Gregory Chappel; 17 great-grandchildren; sibling, Victor D. Kimbrell (Lou) of Nixa, Missouri; in-laws, Woody and Willodean Ray of Illinois; a host of nieces and nephews; and loved by so many friends.

Pallbearers will be Heath Miller, Billy J. Shirley Jr., Dylan Shirley, Justin Schultz, Ronnie Franklin, and Josh Medders. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Lee.
