Our beloved William R. Roy passed on October 11, 2022, following a fall in his home. Billy was a gentle soul with such a great wit. He always was admired for his diligent work ethic and love for his family, too often working seven days a week to provide for his loved ones. Billy was an avid gun collector, leading his work colleagues to endearingly nickname him “Cowboy”. He proudly loved his country, serving in the U. S. Navy. We know God has our date of death in the Book of Life, so it was Billy’s time to walk with God and His son Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Through tears, we are missing him, but through belief in Christ, we know he is blessed to be out of pain. Thank you for your kind prayers for Billy’s healing, but in moving forward, we know God is in control. We wish for our beloved Billy an Earthly goodbye, but we celebrate his Heavenly bond with God and Jesus. We will love you forever, sweet Billy, as son to William and Marie (both deceased), husband to his beloved wife, Sharon (deceased), father to sons Cary (deceased) and Daryl (Tamela), grandfather to Courtney, Dominque, Brandon, William, Cary Jr., Deshana, Jasmine, Destini, and ten great-grandchildren, brother to Rita (Doyle), Reba (Buddy), Patty (Barry) and Dean (deceased), uncle to eight, and great-uncle to nine. ✝️🙏🏻✝️
