William James Nelson, 91, died peacefully on August 5, 2011 in Jacksonville, FL. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Virginia Nelson and son, William “Skippy” Nelson, Mr. Nelson is survived by his 8 children, Nancy Nelson, John Nelson (Ann), Norma Pippin (Bob), Donna Nelson, Janet Kreis, Mary Hlavac (Bob), Ann Nelson and Doug Nelson; brother, Robert F. McIsaac; sister, Claire Dorenkamp; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 with visitation one hour prior to the service in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, followed by interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
