William C. Miller passed away Thursday, June 6th at the age of 78. With his gentle spirit, positive outlook on life and desire to teach anyone willing to learn, he touched the lives of many.
Bill was born in Watervliet, NY on January 23, 1935 and moved to the Miami area as a young boy. After graduating Coral Gables High School, Bill joined the Army where he was trained as a dental technician. After returning to civilian life, he opened his first dental lab in Miami, and was recognized by many for his contributions to the dental field. In addition to mentoring many young technicians, Bill spent some time as an instructor at Pensacola State College where he could formally train and influence many students aspiring a career as a dental technician. He spent the last 26 years in Jacksonville, where he continued working, enjoying time on the water and perfecting his golf swing.
Bill should be remembered most for the love of his family, the lifelong friendships he kept over the years and his passion for golf, fishing and living life to the fullest.
Bill is survived by his wife Arlene, his children Jo Ann, Suzie & Bill, his grandchildren Stephanie, Clayton, Garrett, Sarah and R.J and his two brothers Bob and Ed.
