Wendy had a one-of-a-kind personality and was known for her fun-loving nature, huge personality, and incredible work ethic. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.
Wendy had a long and successful career in sales, including working at Clear Channel Communications and Barbizon USA. Her hard work and dedication made her a respected professional in her field. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident to all who knew her.
Outside of her career, Wendy had a passion for cheerleading. She loved the sport and dedicated countless hours to Pop Warner Cheerleading as a coach, both a league and regional coordinator and judge. Her enthusiasm and love for cheerleading touched the lives of many young athletes. It made her so happy to share her love of the sport with her daughter and granddaughters.
Wendy is survived by her daughter Kate, son-in-law Matthew, granddaughter Lily, grandson Landon, granddaughter Lucy and her cherished "grand pups" Tucker and Cooper. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched.
A small service to celebrate Wendy's wonderful life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home located at 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. Following the service, there will be a toast to honor Wendy's memory.
